It is hard to have any type of venture outside your art practice without having less time and headspace for it. I started Matarile Ediciones last year and even though I feel more creative than I have in a long time, I also feel like I am less of an artist. The nice thing about shooting in film and having an archive with contact sheets is that you get to look back at your work. Think about different times, different eyes, different states of mind. Today I am sharing with you pictures of my dog friend Pina. Back in the summer I had the privilege of looking after her on numerous occasions. It was a welcomed change of pace and a fun and tender time. Today I am missing days of levity like this one.
